Profile
Hi, my name is Jing Yang. As one of the technicians in Biology Department, my main responsibilities are to set up the weekly teaching labs for Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Plant Biology, Mycology and Genetics, supporting students with their research experiments.
I am originally from China and there I got my M.Sc (Biology) in Northwest University, Xi’an. After doing many years of research at Dalhousie University, I accepted the technician position here in 2003. I really enjoy interacting with both the graduate and undergraduate students along with all the faculty members. I like working with them and supporting them throughout their university career.
I like outdoor activities such as geocaching, hiking, travelling.
