Tenure Track Position - Assistant Professor

The Department of Political Science and Global Development Studies at Saint Mary's invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin on July 1, 2025. Preferred candidates will have a demonstrable commitment to the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion as it pertains to service, teaching, and research.
Our dynamic department is currently undergoing an exciting period of expansion and innovation. We seek highly qualified applicants who wish to collaborate in this process and who can enrich our program with rigorous, cutting-edge research and teaching excellence in the field of Canadian Politics, particularly in one or more of the following areas: Charter politics and constitutional law; Indigenous politics; political parties and elections; and race and politics. A capacity to teach courses on provincial, municipal and/or local politics will be considered a strong asset.
