Critical Illness Insurance

Critical Illness insurance is a “living benefit”. It is designed to provide a lump sum payment should you be diagnosed with one of the defined conditions outlined in the enclosed literature.

Saint Mary's, through Interuniversity Services Incorporated (ISI), has formed a partnership with Beneva (formally SSQ/AXA Assurances Inc.) to offer Critical Illness Insurance to Saint Mary's employees who meet the eligibility criteria.

Critical Illness is currently be offered as an optional employee benefit where the premiums are 100% employee paid. Below you will find a brochure with information on the benefit.
