Research Lab Bookings

The Department of Psychology has five research labs available for Psychology students who are conducting research. They are available to be booked from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

How to book the testing space:

  1. Log on to the using your S# and password. Choose "Requesting a Psychology Group Space."
  2. Review the descriptions of our research rooms below. Determine which lab fits your needs, and what dates and times you would like to reserve. Note: Room reservations must include the set-up and breakdown time of your study. This means that if it takes you fifteen minutes to set up your experiment and you reserve the room at 10:00, your first experiment should occur no earlier than 10:15. You may not reserve rooms for more than 3 hours at a time.
  3. Check the availability of the room for your intended dates and times on the Lab Room Reservations Calendar. If the room is available, continue through the instructions on the reservation calendar to book the space. Your reservation will not be confirmed unless all of this information is filled out correctly.
  4. Once you have received a confirmation from the lab coordinator for the dates, times, and room you requested, you may post time slots on SONA for the confirmed times. Once you have booked your space, Security Services will receive notice of it and ensure the room is open for you during your reserved time.

Please report any problems to the Lab Coordinator.
