Aaron Currie says his heart skipped a beat when he found out he was the lucky recipient of a Sobey烤ational Innovators特cholarship. Growing up, I was always told by my parents and educators that my hard work would one day pay off琉and]眨ould ultimately lead to a better future.涅 am incredibly honoured to become a member of the very first cohort of Sobey Innovators and look forward to upholding the legacy of the Sobey family throughout my post-secondary journey and beyond.
Aaron is眨orking toward a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in病inance.浹is dream疽ob? CFO for an NHL team. In the meantime, he keeps busy volunteering in the community. During the lockdown, Aaron worked at his local No Frills,盎tocking shelves to make sure people had what they needed. Hes fully prepared to make the transition to online classes. The pandemic has been a challenging time for us all. Luckily, as students our lives have been畝ffected in a miniscule way compared to the lives of healthcare workers and other essential workers.
