Jonah Crowther is鈥�減roud and excited鈥濃�痶o be鈥痵tarting at鈥疭aint Mary鈥檚鈥痶his fall.鈥疊alancing his鈥痵tudies with being active in the community has always been important to him. In addition to volunteering with Feed Nova Scotia, Jonah has coached junior basketball camps and took part in the Conversation Club at his high school to support fellow students whose first language is not English.鈥��
鈥淭hrough my time at鈥痶he鈥疕alifax Grammar鈥疭chool, I was involved in many鈥痵ports teams, clubs,鈥痑nd鈥痶he鈥痵tudent union,鈥� he explains. In addition to receiving the Lieutenant Governor鈥檚 Award in grade 11, Jonah played on the Basketball NS provincial team and took part in Junior Achievement. Though he hasn鈥檛 yet chosen a major, he鈥檚 excited to play varsity basketball for the Saint Mary鈥檚 Huskies and get involved in the community through volunteerism.鈥�
